Hi, I’m Elmo Lamers (27 March 1992).

At the age of 12 I picked up my first bass guitar, and since that day I’ve been in love with this amazing instrument. I soon got my first lessons from André De Boer (graduate Conservatory Arnhem, NL) and many more followed.

In the years following I played with my bands on every stage we could find in The Netherlands and we even played on the national radio stations 3FM, radio 2 and radio 538.

From 2012-2016 (after a year being teached by Kobus Groen, bassplayer of Miss Montreal) I studied bassguitar and songwriting at the ArtEZ Popacademie in Enschede (NL). Some of my teachers were: Ruben De Wilde, Davy De Wit, Wilbrand Meischke and Rogier Van Wegberg.

In October 2016 I started my own school of bass called: Basschool Apeldoorn which is also part of ArtEZ Connected.
